Barry M Dazzle Dust

Hello Everyone, Hope your all okay.

About a year ago now my cousin Debbie brought me some make up for Christmas, and one of them was Barry M's Dazzle Dust eye shadow, I love it! Its so easy to put on and Barry M does gorgeous colours!

Being a girly girl, I'm in love with the colour pink and my cousin knew that so she brought me the colour Neon Pink.

When I first got it, I thought how on earth do I put this on? It will go everywhere! Which I was right at first, it did! But with a little practise and patience, it went right. Yes, I do still get the "dust"fall onto my face, but it is easy to clean up with a cotton wool bud.

After I used the one that Debbie gave me, I decided to go out and buy another one, I got it in the lighter pink though, which is a gorgeous shade.

This is the one Debbie brought me in the shade 85- Neon Pink
From left to right 86- Pink Shimmer, 85- Neon Pink
and this one's 86- Pink Shimmer

I love these colours, they really make my eyes stand out, there good quality and last for ages :)

I will definitely be purchasing some more of the Dazzle Dusts.

Do you get along with Barry M Dazzle Dust?

Dove Summer Glow

Well just have to say, this product is amazing! I'm a very pale girl and hate it so I decided to invest in some sort of tanning product and well... I came across this!

Dove Summer Glow leaves no streaks, smells gorgeous and gives the best tan anyone could wish for, I would certainly recommend this product!

This product sells at £5.69 from Boots and other stores.

(But right now Boots has a 3 for 2 mix and match on skin care, so stock up while you can!)

What tanning product do you use?

Tangle Teezer

Hi Everyone,

Every time I washed my hair, I used to dread brushing it afterwards, my hair is literally the most tangly knotted hair ever! It even made cry it hurt so much.

Then I found out about the tangle teezer, I did doubt it and didn't  wanna waste money not knowing if it worked or not, but I thought everyone is raving about it so I might as well  give it ago and I found out it was a good choice! It does work and it doesn't pull your hair at all, to be honest, I find that it massages your head.

The bristles on the brush are made out of durable plastic and are really easy to clean, every now again I wash the  brush with shampoo and warm water.

I would highly recommend this brush, it's the easiest thing I have ever used!

I purchased mine from Boots at about £10.

Do you own a tangle teezer?

Lots of love,

A Bit About Me...

Hi everyone,

My name is Lauren Hartwell Jones, I come from England and have a bita welsh inside me. I spent my whole life thinking negative which lead to negative things, so now I try to think positive! :)

Family Life
My mum and dad got divorced when I was 6, it was hard to get through, I didn't even know anything until one night I had a nightmare, and went into my dad's room and he wasn't there, I went to mum and she cried dads gone to move closer to work. I was devastated when I found out. I couldn't stop thinking I'm losing my dad but actually the divorce brought me closer to him, I missed him so much that when I saw him every Sunday I'd make the most of the time I was with him.

The one person I could always talk to in my family was my Nan, Mary, she was lovely, I used to joke around with her and tell her all my trouble and she would make me feel so much better, but she got ill one day and had to go stay in hospital which I thought she wouldn't be in there long,  only a week later my grandma was babysitting me and my mum came walking through the door crying, I asked what she was crying for and she sat me on her knee and said nanny died, I was so shocked because I visited her the day before and I thought she was okay, she gave me a wave before and kissed me.   I never thought I would be able to move on from my Nanny's death, but I got through it with a lot of help from family and friends.

My mum and dad are kind of back together now, I live with my dad because I didn't get along with my mum when I lived with her, but I get a long so much better now we live apart. My dad stays round my mums every Saturday, and he comes home Sunday night really happy. I'm glad they are getting a long now, every one is much happier.

School Life
I hated school. I missed behaved so much, I used to walk out, scream at the teachers, and throw tantrums everyday about silly things. I used to have meetings with Councillors about my behaviour, until it got where my head of year couldn't handle me any more, so I ended up in a place called the Green Room, which was so much better, they put me on a part  time table and helped me with my work, they weren't strict with me, so I could easily get along with the teachers. I loved it there and they helped me through my school years.

Now... I'm at college full time studying hairdressing, I like the hairdressing but HATE the college, the college is so strict with silly little things, like uniform! Our uniform is all black so we look like were going to a funeral, it's so depressing!  The other day, I told my tutor how much I hated it, I was in tears I hated it that much, I just wanted it too end, I thought I was going to drop out, but my tutor said if I buck up my ideas I can finish in 3 weeks! I thought thank god! So I'm trying to finish it as quickly as possible!

What's your family and school life like?

Miss Sporty Nail Vanish

Hey everyone!

I went to Boots the other day wanting to buy some cheap nail vanish, I came across Miss Sporty, and looked at there nail vanishes, I found some really cheap but really nice colours, there were really nice pastly colours which are in right now, so I brought 2, a nice purplish colour and a nice pinky, reddy colour!

When I got home I didn't expect them to be so good! They were fantastic, they dried in seconds, and you only needed to put on 1 coat! I was really impressed and will be definitely be purchasing more of these!

What's Inside My Make Up Bag

My make- up bag :) £1.00 from Primark, bargain!

Rimmel Day 2 Night Mascara - £7.99. I like this mascara, it does what it says, gives a lot of length and volume, but for me the tube dried out really quickly, but it is a good mascara and you do get a lot of volume. I would give this mascara a 8 out of 10.
Collection 2000 Colour Match foundation - £5.99. This foundation is good, I use it after my Max Factor foundation, it does match the colour of your skin and it's not to heavy for your skin. The only down point I would say is the pot it comes in, when I squeeze it to get some out only a little comes out and it's hard to get some more out of it, but over all I would give this an 8 out of 10.
Maybelline Great Lash Blackest Black Mascara- £4.99.  I only use this mascara to get my lashes very black! The mascaras good, but seems to clump your eye lashes up, but to be honest I do like having clumpy eye lashes lol :L! I would give this mascara a 9 out of 10.
Collection 2000 Big Fake Mascara- £5.99. I have only used this mascara once due to buying only the other day, but when I tried it I found it was actually pretty good! My lashes looked long and think. Overall, I would give this mascara and 7 out of ten.
Natural Collection Liquid Eye Liner- £1.99. I've used this everyday since I have brought it, I did have the Helen E Liquid eye liner but that run out, so I thought I'd get a cheap £1.99 eye liner, and actually I'm really impressed, it's no different from my other expensive eye liner and I will stock up on these! I would definitely recommend this! Overall I would give this a 10 out of 10!
Maxfactor Masterpiece Max Mascara- I got this mascara in a free gift because I spent £15 on there other cosmetics at Christmas, so I don't know how much this cost, sorry! It's a very good mascara and it really defines your lashes, and gives them length. Overall I would give this a 8 out of 10.
Maxfactor 2 in 1 Foundation and Serum Foundation- £12.99 Actually really like this foundation, can't live without it! I look for quite a thick creamy base foundation as I have horrible skin and like to cover it up a lot and this foundation does wonder for me! Not only is it foundation but it helps your skin as well, and since I have been using this my skin has improved wonders, thank god! The only down side to this foundation is the price :( it is a little bit pricey, but I will always be purchasing one of these! I give this foundation a 10 out of 10!
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder- £3.99.  I love this powder, I picked it up because it was so cheap! It stays on all day and doesn't give you the clogged up look! Overall I give this powder a 9 out of 10!
Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder- £6.99- Well I brought this bronzer about a year ago now and I still have loads of it left! It is a very long lasting bronzer and smells delicious, nearly good enough to eat! It doesn't give that orange look, it gives a nice bronze which I like. Would recommend this. A 10 out of 10 from me!
Maxfactor Eye Liner- Don't know the price, sorry! I got it out of a free gift! When I first got the eye liner it was really good, didn't smudge at all and really defined my eyes, only thing is, after a while the eye liner faded so it wasn't as black.  :( over all, I give this eye liner a 6 out of 10.
Mary Kay Eye Shadow, Honey Spice. Again, sorry I don't have the price, I got given this a present! I like this eye shadow cos it really shows my blue eyes off, it makes my eyes stand out. I don't find many eye shadows that suites me, but this one does, thank you Mum! :D  I give this a 10 out of 10.
Rimmel Volume Flash The MAX Mascara-£6.69. I find this mascara really good, I like having my eye lashes quite clumpy and this does the job, it's very black and has a really nice brush. I give this a 8 out of 10.
Fearne Mascara- Sorry I don't know the price as got it a Christmas present again! Love this mascara, really good, I looked around for it everywhere but no where seems to sell it :(  really makes my eye lashes have a lot of volume and length. Thank you boyfriend! I give this a 10 out of 10.
Soap and Glory Eye Liner- £5.00. Love this eye liner, really defines my eyes and doesn't smudge at all. It has a sharpener on the end which is really handy!  The only thing is it is a little pricey for an eye liner, but overall, I would give this a 10 out of 10.
Helen E Liquid Eye Liner- Sorry don't have the price as got this for a gift. The eye liner is okay, but I prefer my Natural collection, it does the same thing only Natural Collection eye liner is a lot cheaper and you get the same look. Overall, a 2 out of 10. Not impressed!
Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss- £9.00. Really like this lip gloss, has a tingling sensation when is puckers your lips! Looks sexy and is a really nice colour. Only down side, is the price :( Over all a 7 out of 10.
My Make up :D

My Cat Millie

I first got my cat Millie when she was 6 weeks, she was so small and cute! When we were choosing the kitten we wanted she came straight to me and started playing with my tassals on my hoodie! She was adorable and I loved her so much straight away!

When we got her home, I put her in my room because we have 2 other cars, Marvin and Pebbles, and we didn't know that Marvin and Pebbles would like her. She fell asleep straight away on my pillow and looked too cute to be true!

But now.. she's a little rascal! She breaks anything in sight, falls asleep in the day time but when it's time for everyone to go to bed she's up and running around chasing Marvin... So no sleep for us till the early hours of the morning!
