My 18th Birthday

Hi Everyone,

Last month was my 18th and my family and me all decided to go to London for it, I had a wonderful time! I bet your all expecting me to say I went out clubbing and got drunk! Well I didn't, I'm not much of a drinker, and to be honest, I've never been drunk before!

We all went up by train and stayed in a lovely hotel called Novetel which is by London Tower Bridge, I've never stayed in such a posh hotel! It was gorgeous, the hotel had all up to date technology, a gorgeous bar and restaurant! The staff were so kind and generous.

We got to London quite late, so we all decided to go to the nearest restaurant which was All Bar 1, it had such lovely food. After we had our meal, we all walked down to Tower bridge, we were all amazed, it looks stunning with light up in the dark, we all couldn't believe it!

When we got back to the hotel we all went to bed... Then eventually the morning come- my birthday! I woke up to my family singing happy birthday to me, it was lovely, I opened my presents and then went down to have some breakfast, well that was interesting! In the middle of eating my toast the whole catering team came up to me and started singing happy birthday! I was amazed, they baked me a lovely chocolate cake which I was so grateful for, Thank you Novetel!

Later on that day we all decided to go shopping down Oxford Street, the weather was really annoying, it was chucking it down with rain and silly me forgot my coat! So I got soaked! Which was annoying but I wasn't too bothered-  as we all dried off in Madam Tusords, which was excellent! I would recommend that place to anyone of all ages!

So overall, I had an excellent birthday with my family even though I did get soaked!

No7 Stay Perfect Foundation

Hi everyone!

After searching and searching for a foundation that matched my skin color (I'm very pale) I got very fed up. Whenever I tried a new foundation it always used to be too dark for my skin and always used to leave patches. So when I saw No7 Match Made service advertise on TV, I thought I'd give it a go...

Well it was excellent, I went into my local Boots store and asked the woman if she could Match make my skin to a foundation. The woman was lovely, she asked me loads of questions about my skin (If I had any problems, what kind of finish I like), after we had talked she took two small blobs of my foundation off (Either side of the chin) and put the remote on it, after 3 seconds it beeped and came up with the foundation color that matched me. I had a wonderful experience and I can say truthfully that the foundation I brought was truly the right match! It's easy to go on & lasts all day!

Thank you No7!

Lots of love, Lauren xx

A BIG APOLOGY

Hello everyone,

I'm so sorry I haven't made a post on here for a while! I've been quite down for the past 6 months and been really busy too!

I don't know whether I should share this on here, but hey!  I will..     My boyfriend (Now ex) broke up with me 6 months ago,  and as you all probably know I was with him for 4 years so that was pretty hard to get over, it took time, but now I'm just getting on with my life.

I started college again in September, and hated it, I always said I'd do it to make my parents proud, but unfortunately it all got too much for me, the pressure, the thought of going in.. I just hated it and in the end it got to the point where I wasn't going in, lying to my parents by saying I was going in, thinking I wouldn't get caught (But did in the end!)! Then the following Monday I decided to go in and because of my anxiety it got worse and I eventually dropped out, which is by far the best thing I have done,  I'm loving life at the moment, got my dream job which is working at Boots, got my loving family and friends around me which is all I need to be happy.

So just to let everyone know, I'm back!

& again, I'm so sorry.
